This historic pub’s in a beautiful setting on the village green – ideal for photographs – and on the doorstep of wonderful countryside yet a short drive from town.  We can help you plan the perfect day, whether you’re thinking of a small, intimate reception or a larger gathering for friends and family.  Our friendly team will talk to you about what you have in mind, make suggestions and give you helpful advice as you prepare for your big day. Then we’ll make sure everything goes to plan, leaving you to relax and enjoy the occasion.

You can even reserve the whole pub exclusively for your celebration.  The Cricketers Arms can accommodate up to 75 guests for private dining and 150 for evening receptions and buffets, with really comfortable accommodation a staircase away.
We have two stunning private rooms:

The Ashes Room is tucked away in a private area of the pub and is perfect for smaller weddings. It comfortably seats 40 guests.

The Pavilion Room is a beautiful room that’s ideal for intimate wedding parties of up to 12 guests.
